一、关于主谓一致
你提出的问题基本都属于主谓一致问题。主谓一致包括三种情况，围绕你提问中的问题列举如下：
1. 语法一致：即单数名词用表示单数的谓语动词，复数名词用表示复数的谓语动词；
2. 概念一致：即形式上是单数却表示复数概念，或者形式上是复数却表示单数概念，如：
1）集合名词 people 人们, cattle 牛属 哺乳动物, furniture 家具, police 警察等永远都要视作复数；
2）the + 表示组织单位的名词，如果指单位本身为单数，如果指单位的组成人员则为复数，如：The committee，委员会/委员会委员，the family 家庭/全家人，the army 部队/部队将士，the college 学院/全院师生，等等；
3）the + 形容词：表示一类人，应该视作复数，如：the + rich 富人们，the poor 穷人们，the young 年轻人，the old 老年人，等等；
4）and 连词的两个单数名词表示一个概念，应该视作单数，如：wisky and soda 加苏打的威士忌，a doctor and profesor 博士头衔的教授，a knife and fork 一套刀叉，等等；
5）表示数量复数名词是一个整体，视作单数，如：twenty years，twenty dollars，three miles，等等；
6）用 each/every 限定的并列名词应该视作单数，如：each boy and each] girl，every student and every teacher，等等；
3.就近一致，包括以下几种情况：
1）there be：主语人称形式根据紧跟 be 的名词的数进行变化；
2）由 or 连接的供选择的名词（包括neither...or; either...or）谓语动词根据紧跟 or 的名词的数变化；
3）由 not only ... but also 并列的名词，人称形式的变化需要看紧跟 but also 的那一个。
