And the heroine of this story——a(改为the) goddess of forest——Echo, who also loved Narcissus. Once she had helped Zeus and his lover escape from Hera . And because of her kindness, she was punished by Hera. Echo could not speak properly——she could only repeat what was said to her . So she couldn't tell Narcissus that she loved him
One day, when Narcissus was walking in the woods with some friends, he became separated from them. He called out "Is anyone here?" Echo hid behind a tree and could only reply "Here, Here! ".Narcissus thought the voice may came from one of his friend （改为friends）so he looked for Echo . But when he found her, he thought that he was trea ed by the （改为a）woman. Narcissus shouted ” I won’t let you possess me!” and echo replied ”possess me, possess me! ” narcissus thought that Echo was a frivolous girl and refused to accept her love. Echo was so ashamed and heart-broken that she left and hid in a cave, until nothing was left of (to)her, except her voice.

The story was not at an end. Echo’s friend —— other goddess of forest were very sympathetic to Echo and they begged Nemesis to punish Narcissus. So Nemesis made Narcissus fall in love with himself. When Narcissus looked at his reflection in a pond one day, he found a woman’s face with beauty and wisdom and fell in love with her. So he also suffered the pain that he could never be with his love. He stayed on that pond day by day, until he jumped into the water to follow his love one morning. Where he died a flower grew, and that flower is called a Narcissus.

And That’s why we called “回音” “echo” in English and use narcissus to describe someone is “自恋的” now

Echo could not told Narcissus her love until she died. and if you reached a cave or the top of a mountain next time, please shouted ” I love you!” that is what she really wanted to say. For that, she had been lonely in the wind for thousands of years.

不过我有点小建议，就是其中的中国式英语腔有点浓，这可能是唯一的缺憾了。
